Am I Wrong To Question Chris Brown’s Accuser?

Trouble just doesn’t seem to escape Chris Brown. He’s now being sued by a woman who claims she was raped at his home by one of his friends, and was forced to perform oral favors to a woman who was menstruating.

The alleged victim is not revealing her name, and claims that the party happened in February of last year.  She also claims that Brown supplied coke, molly, and weed for partygoers.

The Jane Doe claims a female friend of Breezy’s forced her and other women into a room, blocked the door, and took away her cell phone. Then other women were allegedly forced to have sex with Brown and another man.

Jane Doe, has hired Gloria Allred as her attorney in the case.  Allred describes the situation as “one of the most horrific sexual assault cases” she’s ever seen.

I have questions. And if you question a victim, you’re automatically victim shaming or blaming, but I am so skeptical of women who sue celebrities…

Is she only suing Chris Brown? Why not sue the other men?

Why is she suing and not pressing criminal charges? (If I’m remembering correctly, you can press criminal charges AFTER filing a suit, but are not able to file a lawsuit if you criminally charge them first…)

No woman deserves to experience this, and no one should be forced to do things against their will, but these allegations pop up over and over again. Nelly was recently accused, R. Kelly is currently being accused of running a cult & holding women hostage. Have we all just become skeptical of the accuser’s intentions? Does someone immediately asking for a large sum of money make up question what the truth is?
